    2009 Season

Tuesday, December 15, 2009, 12:15 AM EST [General]

This year was much better.  As with many others, the economy has money tight, but we (the Cap'n and I) were able to go to the festival several times.  It was sooooo great to see all our friends.  We missed you all soooo much.

We had fun seeing everyone, and walking around and seeing and being seen.  It's too bad that festival isn't year around, could you just imagine walking around in the snow, ok, maybe the snow would be a bit much.  I guess the winter just makes the summer season all that much better.

Here's wishing all our ren-family and friends a wonderful Christmas and a joyous New Year.  Raise a glass of ale, rum, guinness, or whatever your favorite beverage is, to celebrate the Holiday Season.

    Heartbreak

Tuesday, September 9, 2008, 12:38 PM EST [General]

    Oh my,

This fest-year may be a heartbreaker.  We may not able to attend due to financial issues.  We are missing all our faire-friends and family.  Short of a miracle, namely a decent job,  we may have to forego this season, and you can hear our hearts breaking.

If we are not able to be with all our ren-friends and ren-family, hopefully finances will straighten out to allow for more fun and frivololity for the next season.

Please, to all our friends, do not forget us, and we hope to see you in the next season.
